Why Solar Homebase

Built for installers who close on quality

We designed the lead flow to give you everything you need before the first call — so your time goes toward closing, not qualifying.

Hyper-local matching

You only receive leads in the service areas you define — no wasted time on addresses outside your coverage.

Pre-qualified homeowners

Every lead has already seen a savings estimate and chosen to proceed. No cold tire-kickers.

Capped at 3 installers

Homeowners see at most 3 installers. You compete on quality, not on who calls fastest.

Structured contact flow

Leads arrive with roof data, system size range, and timeline intent — everything you need for a first call.

The matching flow

What you receive with every lead

When a homeowner approves you as one of their 3 contacts, you receive a structured lead package — not just a name and phone number.

1

Property data

Address, roof area, usable solar area, shading factor, and peak sun hours for their ZIP.

2

Estimate context

The system size range and savings estimate the homeowner saw — so your quote is grounded in shared data.

3

Contact + intent

Full name, email, phone, and the timeline they selected (e.g. within 3 months, exploring).

Installer FAQ

Questions from installers

How much does it cost to join?+

There's no subscription fee to be listed. We charge a flat per-lead fee only when a homeowner approves you as one of their 3 contacts. You set a monthly lead cap so you never receive more than you can handle.

Can I define my own service area?+

Yes. During onboarding you specify the ZIP codes or counties you serve. You only receive leads within those boundaries. You can update your service area at any time from your installer dashboard.

What if a lead doesn't convert?+

We offer credit for leads where the homeowner is unreachable or the address falls outside the stated service area. We don't credit leads that don't convert — our job is to deliver qualified intent, not guaranteed closes.

How are installer ratings calculated?+

We collect post-install reviews from homeowners after job completion. Ratings are averaged across all reviews for your account. We publish them on your installer profile visible to homeowners during the matching process.

What happens if my license lapses?+

We require annual re-verification of your license and insurance. If a license lapses or insurance coverage drops below our minimum, your account is paused until the issue is resolved. We'll notify you 60 days before your documents expire.
