Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Solar Homebase (solarhomebase.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of service

Solar Homebase provides an online platform that (a) generates ballpark solar savings estimates based on address and electricity usage data, and (b) facilitates introductions between homeowners and up to 3 vetted local solar installers. Solar Homebase is a marketplace — we do not install solar systems and are not a solar installer.

3. Estimate accuracy

Solar savings estimates provided by Solar Homebase are based on satellite imagery, publicly available utility rate data, and regional sun hour data. They are approximations intended to help homeowners understand potential value ranges. They are not quotes, contracts, or guarantees of future savings. Actual savings will vary based on final system design, installer pricing, equipment selection, energy usage changes, and utility rate changes. Solar Homebase is not liable for decisions made in reliance on estimate data.

4. Installer matching

When you submit a contact form and consent to installer matching, you authorize Solar Homebase to share your contact information with up to 3 solar installers we have vetted for your service area.

Solar Homebase makes reasonable efforts to vet installers for licensing and insurance, but does not guarantee the quality, workmanship, or reliability of any installer. All agreements for solar installation are solely between you and the installer you select. Solar Homebase is not a party to any installation contract.

5. User responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when using the service. • Use the service only for lawful purposes. • Not attempt to access systems or data beyond your authorized scope. • Not use the service to generate fraudulent leads or contact installers without intent to purchase.

Violation of these terms may result in termination of access to the service.

6. TCPA and communications

By submitting the installer matching form, you provide express written consent under the TCPA for Solar Homebase and matched installers to contact you via automated telephone dialing systems, pre-recorded voice messages, text messages, and email at the contact information you provide, even if your number is listed on a Do-Not-Call registry. Consent is not required as a condition of purchase. You may revoke consent at any time by contacting us.

7. Intellectual property

All content on Solar Homebase — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Solar Homebase, Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOLAR HOMEBASE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLAR HOMEBASE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY SOLAR INSTALLATION ARRANGED THROUGH THE SERVICE. SOLAR HOMEBASE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solar Homebase, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
